Curbing the pandemic through fast, efficient and effective messaging.
The Challenge
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected everyone in one way or another. But maybe none more so than those on the front lines treating it every day. A coalition of the Utah Department of Health and state hospitals wanted to thank our doctors and nurses for all they do.
The Solution
Featuring many real doctors and nurses, we showed a glimpse of their daily struggles. We might not feel the weight of the challenges placed on these essential workers, but we can certainly empathize and thank them for their continued efforts during the pandemic. This ad won an EmmyŸ award in the Public Service Announcement category.
The Challenge
The Utah Department of Health and state officials were concerned about ICU beds becoming unavailable due to an increased number of COVID patients. We were tasked with telling a story that would urge Utahns to vaccinate against the disease.
The Solution
We decided to show the very plausible outcome of a patient who had to be turned away from critical treatment due to full ICU beds. While the story was fictional, the scenario was very real and taken from real-world examples of similar life-threatening situations.
The Challenge
Though the pandemic was no laughing matter, many of the myths and falsehoods surrounding the vaccine were downright hilarious. The client wanted us to encourage Utahns to get vaccinated through a more lighthearted message.
The Solution
With a spot-on parody of a commercial featured in the classic film âGhostbusters,â we sought to dispel some of the more ludicrous myths related to the COVID-19 vaccine. Sometimes when you canât cry anymore, you have to laugh instead.

The Challenge
The Utah Department of Health wanted a positive message that would match the general feeling of holiday cheer â while still relaying the importance of masking up to stay safe from COVID-19.
The Solution
Mixing simple imagery of holiday iconography and protective masks, we reminded Utahns to be safe while celebrating the season. And arenât those little masks just the cutest?
